Had an awesome group vacation! We loved visiting a local historic castle with a guided tour and indulging in some home-cooked classics at a cozy eatery. The staff here really made our stay special, ensuring we had everything we needed and the grounds were perfect for relaxing. Great food too!

Only downside was the location. it’s a bit out of town, so you should rent a car or plan for a taxi.

We faced a bit of inconvenience as there wasn't an elevator, making it tough to carry our luggage upstairs.

the claverton hotel is in a great setting with lovely gardens and plenty of parking. the staff are super friendly and the room we stayed in was clean and comfy. omg, the full english breakfast was really good, perfect for starting the day. it was also nice to have a bar that serves draught lager. we loved the fact that it's close to the carr-taylor vineyard, just a short walk away.

I absolutely loved the Luxury Room King-Size Sleigh Bed! It was spacious, immaculate, and so inviting, giving us the perfect cozy retreat after a day of exploring. Plus, the stunning garden views made our mornings feel magical and relaxed.

Charming Stay with Impressive Breakfast

During our one-night stay, we enjoyed a lovely room with a stunning view of the gardens where we could spot rabbits. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, with a fantastic selection, including perfectly cooked poached eggs. The staff were welcoming and attentive, creating a friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. I noticed some areas that could use a little more attention, particularly the cleanliness behind the sink pedestal in the bathroom.

The grounds are stunning with koi carp in the pond, and we enjoyed relaxing in the lovely garden.

our stay at claverton was delightful! the staff were super attentive, even with just one person at check-in. our deluxe double room was clean, cozy, and had a large ensuite shower. the beautiful garden view made our mornings special, and breakfast was a real treat with plenty of choices.

Family with kids, Best breakfast you can find

So we stayed in a family suite, right? It was huge and comfortable, perfect for our group. The breakfast, man, I swear it was the best English breakfast I've ever had, I could eat there all day if they let me.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Just a good pick for resting at all in Battle with value for money. The grilled teriyaki salmon was spot on. Try to avoid rooms near the entrance to prevent noise at night.

I loved my stay! The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the remote-controlled ambient lighting in the dressing room was a delightful touch. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with fresh fruit and perfectly cooked local bacon. I wouldn't mind coming back again!

The Luxury King Size Four Poster Room was lovely and quiet, super clean and comfortable. The bed was really nice, though I was hoping for curtains since it was a four-poster. The decor was pretty and it felt cozy overall. The only downside was the room was a bit small, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also a highlight, with amazing coffee and fresh fruit!

The room was large with a comfy sleigh bed, a lovely view of the gardens, and enough space for quality family time. A fun living area kept the kids entertained while we unwinded in our separate bedrooms.

Clean room and great location, but check-in took too long.
